Bernardo Rocco is Full Professor of Urology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He is Chief of the Department of Urology, Nuovo Ospedale Civile sant' Agostino Estense di Baggiovara (Modena) and Columbus Clinic Center of MIlan. Body faculty member of the Graduate School of urology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. International Scientific Director, Global Robotics Institute, Celebration (USA), Member of the Scientific working group of the European Robotic Urology Society . Associate Editor of Minerva Urologica Nefrologica. Membership in the editorial boards of scientific journals, BJUI International Journal, European Urology,The Journal of Urology, International British Journal of Urology, International Brazilian Journal of Urology, ecancermedicalscience. Member of the Board of the following scientific associations: Italian Endourology Association (IEA),Endourology, Laparoscopy, and Robotics Section of the Italian Urology Association (SIU), European Section of Onco-Urology of the EAU, European Robotic Urology Society, Scientific Committee of Challenges in Laparoscopy & Robotics ,European Section of Uro-Technology, Faculty European School of Urology, Clinical Research office of the IEA, Charter member of the Society of Robotic Surgery. He received many National and international Awards and other Recognitions. He is a member of many national and international Medical Associations Association of Academic European Urologists (AAEU), European Association of Urology, American Urological Association, SIU, IEA, SRS, Society of Academic European Urologists. He has published more than 200 articles on national and international journals, concerning all fields of urology but especially prostate cancer. He has attended numerous national and international congresses as Invited Speaker and/or chair and Live surgery (invited operator). He has performed almost 2000 surgical procedures as primary surgeon, using open, robotic, and endoscopic techniques, for both oncologic as well as benign urologic diseases in adults and children.
