Richard S. Matulewicz, MD MSCI MS is an Assistant Professor of Urology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Matulewicz graduated Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. This was followed by a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) clinical fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a research fellowship in Health Services Research at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. In addition to his urologic oncology practice, Dr Matulewicz is PI on several grant funded research projects and is the author of over 70 publications. He has been a featured speaker at several national and international medical conferences. His main research interests are facilitating smoking cessation for urologic oncology patients, improving disparities in the surgical care of urologic cancers, and redesigning the diagnostic approach to hematuria.
