Dr. Rukstalis is an urologist in academic practice within the Prisma Health organization in partnership with University of South Carolina who is interested in the development of novel devices and therapeutics for both benign and malignant disorders of the genitourinary tract with a focus in urologic imaging. He is currently involved in the development of clinical applications of high frequency diagnostic ultrasound, targeted ablation of urologic cancers and mechanical options for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
