Dr Louis Kavoussi is Waldbaum Gardiner Professor and Chairman of the Smith Institute for Urology at Hofstra- Northwell School of Medicine on Long Island NY. He is a world renouned expert in minimally invasive urology who helped develop laparoscopic kidney and prostate surgery. He has has won multiple awards including the Gold Cystoscope and Distinguished Contribution awards from the AUA, The Computerworld Award from the Smithsonian and The Clayman Mentoring Award from the Endourological Society. He has over 500 Publications and has edited over 10 Texts including Cambell's Urology.
