Seth A. Alpert, MD, FACS, FAAP is a faculty member of the Department of Pediatric Urology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Alpert serves as the Co-Director of the Surgical Neuromodulation Center at NCH as well as the Program Director of the Pediatric Urology Fellowship Program and Director of the Quality Improvement Program for Urology. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. He completed urology residency at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, followed by pediatric urology fellowship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Alpert is interested in all aspects of urologic problems in children including such diverse conditions as urinary tract infections, hydronephrosis, urinary incontinence, hypospadias, kidney stones and ureteral reflux. He is one of the Co-Principal Investigators for SNAPP (Sacral Neuromodulation Alliance for Pediatric Patients) Multi-Institutional Research Collaborative for children who have undergone sacral neuromodulation for complex voiding dysfunction.
