Sanoj Punnen, MD

Dr. Punnen is a board certified Urologic Oncologist and Associate Prosfessor in the Desai Sethi Urology Institute at the University of Miami and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He completed medical school at Queen's University and residency training in Urology at the University of Toronto, Canada. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Urologic Oncology and Masters in Clinical Research at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Punnen is the Vice Chair of research in the Desai Sethi Urology Institute and the Pap Corps Endowed Chair of Solid Tumor Research. He is heavily involved in prostate cancer research, has published over 100 peer reviewed manuscripts, and is currently the principal investigator on two ongoing NCI funded prostate cancer trials.
