Head of Service and Director of the Clinical Management Unit of Urology of the University Hospital Puerta del Mar de Cádiz. Associate Professor of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine of Cádiz. He obtained his degree in 1982 and received his doctorate in Medicine from the University of Cádiz in 1990: "Anatomoclinical correlation of the morphometric parameters of prostatic carcinoma".
Chairman Scientific Affairs of the Spanish Association of Urology from 2017 to 2021. National Coordinator of Endourology. Laparoscopy and Urological Robotics of the Spanish Association of Urology from 2012 to 2016. Author of multiple publications in specialty journals and participant in conferences and meetings as a speaker of the areas of interest. Principal investigator in several Phase II, III and IV Clinical Trials.
Accredited in Excellent level by the Health Quality Agency of Andalusia.
He is a member of the Spanish Association of Urology (AEU), European Association of Urology (EAU), American Association of Urology (AUA), the Spanish Society of Laparoscopic Surgery (SECLA), the Ibero-American Society of Neurology and Urogynecology (SINUG) as well as the Andalusian and Galician Societies of his specialty.
