Patrick Luke is a Professor of Surgery and the co-Director of the Multiorgan Transplant Program at the London Health Sciences Centre. He attended medical school at the University of Toronto, completed his residency training at the University of Western Ontario, fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and has been an attending surgeon at LHSC since 2000. He was selected as one of Canada’s ‘Top 40 Under 40’ by Caldwell Partners’ and the Globe and Mail in 2005 and is the 2010 recipient of the American Urologic Association Gold Cystoscope Award, presented to the urologist distinguished by outstanding contributions to the profession within 13 years of completing residency training. His clinical research interests include kidney/pancreas transplantation and advanced surgical techniques including a pioneering role in robotics and single incision surgery. His basic science research involves immunotherapy, organ preservation and optimization of organ function post-transplant.
