After receiving his medical education from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Dr. Burks completed his urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He also completed the trauma and urologic reconstructive surgery fellowship at Detroit Receiving Hospital. He is currently an Urology Residency Program Director and Assistant Professor of Urology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and specializes in reconstructive urology and urologic trauma.
