Susan MacDonald, MD is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Urology at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She completed her medical degree at the University of Florida in her home state and then completed her urologic residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore program in the Bronx, New York. She then pursued a fellowship at Wake Forest University in reconstructive urology learning specialized techniques in urethral reconstruction, prosthetic urology, graft and flap creation, and microsurgical dissection. She has particular interests in prostate cancer survivorship, Peyronie’s disease, chronic orchalgia/CPPS, and DEI/Women in Urology. Outside her clinical practice, resident education is the main focus of her career; she is the associate program director for the urologic residency at Penn State.
