Dr. Jayram is a urologic oncologist and the Director of the Advanced Therapeutics Center at Urology Associates, P.C in Nashville, TN.
He completed his urology residency including a year of research at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Following this he completed a fellowship at the Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins where he focused on kidney, prostate and bladder cancer with an emphasis on minimally invasive cancer surgery.
Dr. Jayram has been in clinical practice since June of 2013 At Urology Associates in Nashville and has become one of the busiest urologic cancer surgeons in the region. He is Director of the Advanced Therapeutics Center where he treats patients with advanced cancers and helps to lead a cutting edge clinical trials program. Dr. Jayram has spearheaded the immunotherapy program at Urology Associates and was one of the first urologists in the country to develop an integrated program to administer checkpoint inhibitors to urologic cancer patients. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at Vanderbilt and mentors resident physicians during their training. Dr. Jayram has written numerous journal articles and book chapters and is an editorial contributor to the popular website Practice Update. He is passionate about bringing novel technologies and therapeutics into community urology and promoting high-value care in independent group practice.
