Due to the advanced methods to detect early cancer and innovative approaches for cancer treatment the number of cancer survivors in the United States and Korea continues to increase. A new report estimates there are more than 17 million cancer survivors in the US today, and that number will grow to more than 22 million by 2030. In Korea, the number of cancer survivors is approaching 2 million. One of the most common concerns survivors have is that the cancer will come back. In this Sponsored Satellite Program, we will discuss 'nutrition for cancer survivors' to prevent recurrence and maintain good health status based on recent research data.

Learning Objectives:

Describe current knowledge on diet interventions to prevent recurrence and maintain good health status of cancer survivors
Explain the critical associations between dietary factors and mortality and recurrence among cancer survivors
Discuss nutrition practice and guidance for cancer survivors
