Manisha Tharaney is the West Africa Program Director at Alive & Thrive. She is a public health professional with 20 years of work experience in Asia and in Africa in nutrition and health systems strengthening. She started her work in primary health care in India and has continued to work at all levels of the health system, from community to district to national on nutrition and maternal and child health issues. She currently supports Alive &Thrive’s portfolio in West Africa with capacity building, strengthening research and policy dialogue for breastfeeding and supporting countries to operationalize national maternal and young child nutrition program at scale.
