Esi is a Docotoral Student in the Department of Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her educational background is in Biochemistry and Human Nutrition. She currently works as a Research Assistant in Dr. Lisa Troy's Lab i.e the Nutrition Assessment Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Esi has worked as a Research Assistant on various nutrition studies in clinical, rural and urban settings in Ghana and the United States. For the past two years she has been working on food access and food security among vunerable populations such as older adults. She hopes that her work will add to the body of knowledge on how to promote food security among different vunerable populations.
