Dr. Constance Gewa is an Associate Professor in the Department Nutrition and Food Studies at George Mason University. Gewa’s research focuses on diet-related behaviors among mothers and children in low-income communities, especially those in Africa. Most recent work has examined patterns and determinants of food security, obesity and related comorbidities and food environment.
