I am a Ph.D. student in the Nutritional Sciences department. I am from Uganda, East Africa, currently in the final year of my doctorate. My research interest area is in global nutrition. Specifically, I look at community nutrition under areas of maternal, newborn, and child nutrition and health. Using the behavioral change interventional approach, I am studying how parental social support networks, influence infant and young child feeding practices (IYCF), child growth, and maternal & child nutritional status. My research context area is post-conflict and emergency regions.
