Magdalena Sevilla is a postdoctoral researcher at Massachusetts General Hosputal. She has a Masters and Doctoral degrees in Health Sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Magdalena is passionate about solving population health problems related to the highly prevalent metabolic diseases, particularly type 2 diabetes and its interaction with obesity and environmental factors. Her broader research interest is in using mathematical models and complex biostatistics methods for the integration of genetic, metabolomic, and environmental factors to develop subjects’ profiles, who eventually will have higher benefits of nutritional interventions to prevent type 2 diabetes.
