Hyunjung Lee obtained her MSc in Nutritional Sciences in 2019 at Texas Tech University. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in Nutritional Sciences working in the Community Nutrition and Health Interventions Lab at Texas Tech University. Her research interests include food security, child and maternal nutrition, and eHealth interventions. She obtained a certificate in Global Food Security in 2019 to address interdisciplinary issues related to the approaching global crisis of food security. Hyunjung was involved in three systematic reviews to identify effective evidence-based effective strategies in online nutrition, health literacy, and breastfeeding interventions. Hyunjung has various working experiences at the domestic and international levels in different communities by designing effective interventions to combat food insecurity among populations with underserved backgrounds. Hyunjung has received multiple renowned intuitional awards including the International Research Award from the Office of the Provost. Hyunjung will join the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University as Accountability, Climate, Equity, and Scholarship (ACES) Faculty Fellow in August, 2022.
