Alexis Cathcart is a senior at North Carolina A & T State University who is interested in gaining experience in Computer Science, particularly with Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Human-Computer Interaction/User Experience. While she does want to create more efficient technology, Alexis also wants to focus on providing long-lasting resources - such as scholarships, mentorship, and career guidance, among others - to individuals of marginalized communities.
Alexis is currently taking coursework to improve her abilities in programming, and strives to further her knowledge through research experiences, internships, and/or co-ops. She aspires to become a Software Engineer that designs technology that is both productive and attainable for society.
