The focus of my current research is to identify causes, risk factors and mechanisms for cardiometabolic disease and cancer. My research interests include diet and lifestyle, gut microbiota, metabolomics, and genomics. I have conducted detailed analyses of many factors and risk of cancer and CVD, including PFASs, coffee, red meat, amino acids, fatty acids,etc, and dietary patterns in large prospective cohort studies including the Nurses’ Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-up Study.
