Melissa Chapnick RD, MS, MPH is a second-year doctoral student in the Nutrition & Health Sciences PhD program at Emory Rollins School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the role of nutrition in child growth and development. Prior to beginning her PhD program, Melissa was the research manager for the E3 Nutrition Lab led by Dr. Lora Iannotti. In this role she supported several projects aimed at improving maternal and infant nutrition in Haiti, Ecuador, and Kenya. Ms. Chapnick is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Public Health from Saint Louis University.
