Aji holds a degree in Nutrition Science from the Medical Faculty of Universitas Brawijaya (2010-2014). He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University in June 2019 for 2 years 9 months at 26 years old and graduated magna cum laude under his supervisor, Prof. dr. Nur Indrawaty Lipoeto, MSc, Ph.D (Andalas University), Safarina G. Malik (Eijkman Institute), PhD, and Dr Vimal Karani (Reading University). His Doctoral study entitled Analysis of Genetic and Non-Genetic Risk Factors of Vitamin D Deficiency and the Effect to Newborn Anthropometry Measurement: A Longitudinal Study in West Sumatra, Indonesia. His research focuses on vitamin D, maternal and child nutrition, the first thousand days of early life, and nutrigenetics study. He interested in sports science, healthy lifestyle program, progressive medicine in personalized medicine and nutrition therapy for preventing NCDs.
