Johanna is a Higher Degree by Research candidate at the University of Sydney, Children's Hospital at Westmead Clinical School. Johanna's program of research investigates dietary interventions in adolescents with obesity. She is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and has presented her research at the European and International Congress on Obesity and Dietitians Australia annual National Conferences. Johanna's publications include a narrative review of novel dietary interventions for adolescents with obesity, which examined the evidence on the use of very low energy diets, low carbohydrate diets and intermittent fasting in adolescents with obesity; and a systematic review of weight-neutral interventions in young people with a high body mass index.
