Dr. Sneij completed her B.S. in Biology at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, her M.S and Ph.D. in Dietetics and Nutrition at Florida International University in Miami, FL. She currently teaches graduate level nutrition courses at the University of Miami. She is also a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. David R. Gater’s lab in the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Her research focus is to improve dietary assessment methods in persons with spinal cord injury who have additional barriers related to paralysis.
