Ph.D. Scholar (Senior Research Fellow)
University of Delhi, India
I completed my Masters in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Delhi in 2014. During my working tenure as a project officer with a public health organization, I was actively involved in the development of project proposals and contributed toward writing chapters in training modules for public health program managers and newsletters for a few research associations. At present, I am a Senior Research Fellow pursuing Ph.D. at the University of Delhi. The Ph.D. research work is focused on assessing the diet quality of adults and nutrient profiling of packaged and prepared foods sold in India. So far, I have published articles related to the research work undertaken and presented the research work at various national conferences. I am inclined towards public health research with a focus on reducing the prevalence of diet-related non-communicable diseases.
