Matthew Picklo joined USDA-ARS in 2009 as the Research Leader of the Dietary Prevention of Obesity-Related Disease Research Unit at the Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center. His research team studies the health impacts of dietary fats and oils in mechanistic, clinical, and epidemiological studies and, in collaborative studies, the GxExMxP influences upon the nutritional quality of foods. His most recent work investigates the relationship of nutrigenetics and lipidomic signatures as they relate to chronic disease risk factors. He can be reached at matthew.picklo@usda.gov.
