Dhruvesh is a PhD candidate at University of Alberta in Canada pursuing reserach in Human Nutrition and Metaboism. Dhruvesh has been completed undergradduate degree in Kinesiology from York University in Canada. His PhD thesis research aims to understand the importance of infant diet supplementation with essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids on immune system development. More specifically, the role of n-3 docosahexaenoic acid and n-6 arachidonic acid on infant's ability to develop tolerance to food (oral tolerance). Dhruvesh has published three original research article as first author and three as second author from his current thesis research. For the next phase of career, Dhruvesh will be seeking for new and exciting post-doctoral opportunities in food, nutrition and pharmacetical industry.
