Dr. Rukman is a medical physician, working as Research Scientist in the Centre for Health Research and Development - Society for Applied Studies (CHRD-SAS), New Delhi, India in the domain of Nutrition. His areas of interest are neonatal / child body composition, metabolic disorders, vitamin supplementation in early life, and childhood obesity. He is currently a co-investigator of a large community-based randomized controlled which tests the effect of nutritional interventions on preterm or small for gestational age infants. trial. He is experienced in conducting Big Data Analysis, Systematic Review and Meta-analysis, and Data-Based Monitoring of Research Study and was one of the investigators for WHO Guideline Development Group for feeding guidelines for low birth weight and preterm infants. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Bergen, Norway.
