Kim S. Stote PhD, MPH, RDN holds a research appointment at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. Her research experience includes investigating the effects of foods on cardiometabolic biomarkers in humans. Dr. Stote’s research with randomized clinical trials resulted in a twice Fulbright Scholar award as the Research Chair of Nutrisciences and Health, at the University of Prince Edward Island, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Dr. Stote earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at State University of New York, College at Oneonta and went on to complete a dietetic internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and became a registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN). She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the School of Public Health at the University of South Florida, a PhD in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center, Food Components and Health Laboratory, United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service. She is a graduate of Harvard Medical School’s Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program with a concentration in Clinical Trials.
