Hello! I am currently a senior at Oklahoma State University. I am majoring in Nutritional Sciences with the option of Dietetics. Thanks to the wonderful undergraduate research programs that OSU offers, I have had the opportunity to work with nutritional sciences department professor, Dr. Joyce, for 3 consecutive years. During the 2019-2020 academic school year, I assisted her with creating and running a nutrition education class for ROTC Army and Air Force cadets. We repeated this program during the 2020-2021 academic school year and hosted a focus group to see how we can increase attendance and adhere to our population's interests. During the 2021-2022 academic school year, we created and ran a program for ROTC Army and Air Force Cadets that combined cooking, food safety, and nutrition education. After I graduate, I hope to become a dietitian in the U.S. Army and continue conducting research.
