I am a final year PhD candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I am based in The Gambia at the MRC Unit The Gambia at LSHTM. My research focus of food system sustainability and resilience in West Africa. I have special interest in the contribution of diets in low income settings to climate change. How these food systems can adapt to the increasing climate change while addressing the dual burden of malnutrition (under and over-nutrition) is also a question of interest to the work I do.
