Dr Maku Demuyakor's research focuses on maternal and child nutrition and child development, particularly evaluating cost-effective, early, sustainable, and culturally appropriate integrated nutrition interventions to enable young children in low and middle income countries reach their developmental potential. Her areas of expertise include nutrition science; neurobehavioral assessments of children; population-based surveys and assessments; and the design, monitoring and evaluation of micronutrient and nutrition intervention programs across the globe.
