I am a dietitian graduated in Nutrition major by the Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV - Brazil), and I studied abroad for one year at the University of Rhode Island (URI-USA) attending Nutrition courses. In addition, I already concluded my MS in Nutrition Science (UFV) and a certification in Clinic and Sports Nutrition by the Instituto de Pesquisa Ensino e Gestão em Saúde – IPGS. I also concluded my PhD in Nutrition Science (UFV). My research involves Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) and its relation to cardiometabolic risk, inflammation, and behavioral factors in childhood. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Nutrition Department at Drexel University, Philadelphia - PA. I have offered clinical nutritional care to people with the obejctive of weight loss, hypertrophy, and better sporting performance goals. Speaker in the field of Clinical and Sports Nutrition.
