Dr Lily Bliznashka is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in global health and nutrition, program evaluation, development economics, and quantitative methods. Her research focuses on assessing the effectiveness of multi-input nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions and the mechanisms through which they work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition globally. Lily is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh where she works on issues of women’s empowerment in agriculture and understanding the role of agriculture in child development. Lily received her PhD in Population Health Science from Harvard University in 2021.
