Rachel Kinney is a recent graduate of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University where she received a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Programs and Policies. She has experience conducting qualitative research with diverse groups on topics including school meals, breastfeeding, food access at dollar stores, and fruit and vegetable prescription programs. She also spent the last year working with Feeding America's research team to create a framework of measurement, evaluation, and learning guidance for food banks across the country. Prior to graduate school, Rachel worked as a SNAP Advocate at Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Boston where she assisted people with SNAP benefit issues and advocated for programmatic change.
