Rianna Uddin was born in London, England and immigrated to the United States as a child. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition and is a Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition candidate. She is currently a dietetic intern at FIU and will be graduating in summer 2021. Her career experience includes working as Head Compounding Pharmacy Technician, as well as a graduate researcher. Her research focuses on disordered eating in college students and there are 3 upcoming abstract publications being presented to at the American Society of Nutrition’s 2021 conference. She has received accolades and recognitions such as the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice’s Student Who Rocked Public Health 2020, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Commission on Dietetic Registration Diversity Scholarship, the Stempel Research Scholarship, and many more. Her dream is to be a Pediatric Dietitian.
