Allison Chang, RD, is an MS student originally from Houston, Texas. She graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and completed the Cornell Dietetic Internship in 2021. Allison’s main research interest is understanding how gene-environment interactions and diet can impact disease risk, namely obesity and metabolic disorders. She is currently working with the Field Lab investigating mechanisms affecting gene expression in a line of weight gain-resistant mice. Allison eventually hopes to become a dietitian specializing in inherited metabolic disorders.
