Dorothy Superdock is a 5th year Ph.D. Candidate in Molecular Nutrition in the laboratory of Dr. Angela Poole where her dissertation focuses on the interactions between genetics, dietary intake, and the gut microbiome. Before coming to Cornell, she received her B.A. in Biology with a minor in English Literature from Swarthmore College and then worked at the University of Pennsylvania/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Penn-CHOP Microbiome Program. In her future career she hopes to teach and conduct research in the field of nutrition and contribute to translational research that can inform nutrition guidelines.
