Erika is a Presidential Management Fellow, working as a Health Specialist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). While at NIH, Erika has worked with both the Risk Factor Assessment Branch within the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the All of Us Research Program in the Office of the Director (OD). She holds an MPH in Epidemiology from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University and a BA in Biology from Colgate University. Before joining NIH, Erika performed data entry and quality control for the Moderna mRNA-1273 Phase III vaccine trial at George Washington University. Prior to attending graduate school, Erika worked as a Data Quality Analyst for Riverside Medical Group, where she developed reports on provider performance and company finances, along with forecasting insurance reimbursement rates for potential acquisitions. Some of her research interests include nutrition, physical activity, obesity, climate change, and mental health.
