Presently, Sean works as a Graduate Research Assistant with the Division of Endocrinology at NUS Medicine, driving research in clinical nutrition and metabolic disorders. Through collaborations with the NUS Food Science and Technology Programme, Sean is also involved in the development of novel functional food products, aimed at delivering viable strategies against Type II Diabetes.
Concurrently, Sean is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Food Science and Technology at NUS. His primary interests lie in food structures and digestibility, personalised nutrition, and the clinical effects of functional foods on cardiometabolic disorders.
