Jessica P. Danh is a PhD student in the Department of Nutrition. She obtained her Master of Science in Nutrition through the Dietetics Coordinated Program at Georgia State University in 2020 where she was inducted into the Alpha Eta National Honor Society in Health Professions and received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Her Master’s thesis assessed the dietary intake, nutrition knowledge, and body composition of collegiate athletes. Danh’s current research explores the potential antioxidant properties and biological effects of plant-derived exosome-like nanovesicles. She hopes that her research will lead to a better understanding of one of the many ways in which plant foods exert their health benefits.
