Alexander Vonderschmidt is a nutritional epidemiology researcher at Cornell University. Alexander completed his master's in nutritional epidemiology at Cornell where he also earned his registered dietitian nutritionist credential. Before Cornell, Alexander received his two bachelor's degrees in dietetics and French from Kansas State University. Starting this fall, Alexander will be starting as a PhD student in the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, where his research will focus on environmentally sustainable and healthy food systems. Alexander hopes to pursue a career working in research to help influence policy to accelerate the transition to sustainable and healthy food systems.
