Alan is a Ph.D. candidate in Nutrition Science at Florida State University with an interest in contributing to a deeper understanding of lipid metabolism and the determinants of energy digestibility. He completed his graduate degree and dietetic internship at the U.S. Military-Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition in 2012 and has since served the Army as Dietitian. Alan is currently serving as one of the Student Representatives for the Energy and Macronutrient Metabolism GEM.
