Rochelle Werner is a doctoral candidate in the Graduate Group in Nutritional Biology and Institute for Global Nutrition at the University of California, Davis. As a Registered Dietitian, she has provided nutrition education and counseling services to women and young children in underserved communities through the WIC Program and helped instruct undergraduate-level courses in clinical nutrition and nutrition assessment. Her doctoral research focuses on the evaluation of food-based interventions to improve micronutrient status of young children in low- and middle-income countries.
