Kenny Mendoza holds a BS degree in Nutritional Sciences and completed his Master of Nutritional Science at the Mexican National Institute of Public Health (INSP). He is currently a doctoral student in Nutritional Epidemiology in the Nutrition Department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Recent Kenny’s research focuses on exploring the role of ultra-processed foods produced through intense multi-step industrialization, traditional diets, and other eating behaviors in the development of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases in the Hispanic/Latino population and other major racial/ethnic groups inside and outside the US.
