Midwood High School
My name is Daelah Nicholas. I am currently a senior at Midwood High School interested in studying nutritional epidemiology, and fetal development and pursuing a career as an OBGyn. I'm very driven and ambitious student who's passionate about STEM and research, and I plan to attend New York University in the fall.
I’m currently enrolled in Midwood’s science research program, and have been conducting research on the association between choline and folate consumption during pregnancy and infant temperament alongside Dr. Jean M. Kerver. I am observant, collaborative, adaptable, and detail-oriented, allowing me to stay organized, and communicate and work well with others. I hope to implement these skills while working at a hands-on lab and fully immerse myself in the intricacies of science research.
