Dr. Vandyousefi is a registered dietitian and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. Within the Nutritional Science field, Dr. Vandyousefi specialize in “maternal, perinatal, and pediatric nutrition” and “obesity”. Dr. Vandyousefi's major areas of research interest are 1) understanding how appetite traits and eating behaviors are associated with weight trajectories and obesity risk and 2) developing and disseminating culturally appropriate clinical interventions to prevent obesity and obesity-related diseases.
