Stephanie Martin is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research largely focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of social and behavioral interventions to improve women's and children's nutrition in low- and middle-income country settings. Dr. Martin is currently examining interventions to increase fathers, grandmothers, and other family members support for infant care and feeding; to support exclusive breastfeeding among women working in the informal sector; and to improve adolescent nutrition. She also conducts nutrition implementation research in the United States and globally. She has a PhD in nutrition from Cornell University.
