Kate has been Manager of Science and Heatlh at the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) for over five years. In her undergraduate studies, she researched ethanol as a biofuel at Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Center for Molecular Biophysics, and E. coli transmembrane proteins at Iowa State University's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
