Tuan Nguyen, PhD, MD, is a medical epidemiologist who has dedicated more than 25 years to international health. His work focuses on maternal and infant health, communicable and non-communicable diseases and their risk factors, health disparities, human milk banking, nutrition policies, health system strengthening. He has experience working, providing technical support, or conducting studies in 20 countries around the world. He has co-authored multiple publications, including peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, reports, newspaper articles, and MLE tools. He had advanced training in health and social sciences, epidemiology, and statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Baylor College of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Indonesia, and Hanoi Medical University.
